There’s nothing wrong with this question.
You can absolutely find healthier options at fast food places.
Just because it comes from a fast food joint doesn’t mean it’s utter shit like some people imply.
You’ve just gotta use a little common sense
Here’s what I do because eating reheated food out of tupper ware gets old and gross
Wendy’s: 2 grilled chicken breast with baked potato
Or you can get a couple hamburger Pattie’s with no bun
Chick fil a: grilled chicken sandwich, grilled nuggets, fruit cup, chicken wrap, or salad
Zaxbys I’ll just a couple of grilled chicken breasts and tell them no butter

You've got to be trolling. If you're not, you're lazy, it takes an hour pf time and 30-50 bucks to prep 5 lunches and some snacks dude
Why is this trolling?
I don’t prep shit all my meals are based around convenience.
I’ll absolutely go to Wendy’s or chick fil a for a quick meal.
2 chicken breasts is 8oz of real chicken from Wendy’s and it’s just a plain baked potato.

I spoke before I knew the full story; I was going off the DNP thread then this one. I didn't realize he was trying to learn.

Great response. I'd add Chipotle as a good option as well. I often get the burrito bowl with no rice just black beans and one scoop chicken, one steak. No dairy a pile of lettuce and I'm straight.

If I have to, it's Wendy's.

Spicy chicken sandwich, no mayo. Small chili with no cheese.

The reason I didn't say such originally, is because I didn't want OP looking at a lit up menu with pics of Baconators and Triple Quarter Pounders and Large Fries staring back at him. I'd rather he avoid that. Once he said the grocery store was an option, I went with that.

If you favor convenience over cost, you could always use a local food prep service. I use a local one that sources everything from area farms and is delivered weekly. It's not cheap, but it is clean food and convenient. Just slap in the microwave for two minutes and eat. But I've found myself over time using them less and less, as I have grown to appreciate having greater control over my macros by doing things myself. I never cooked in my life until the past year and have found myself actually enjoying it.

Fair! What kinds of meals do you prep for your lunch then? Chicken & Rice or what kind of meals do you prep?
What you ideally want is high protein, low fat and moderate carbs.

Turkey sandwiches are a good option. Rice and lean ground beef. Stir fry with lean meat — lots of options. Just look up some recipes online and cook a bunch of it at once.

Ultimately you want to get out of the “easy” mindset and into the “healthy” one. It takes work but trust me it will pay off when you’re 100lbs lighter and feeling fantastic.

I'm meal prepping right now.

I'm cooking my daughter and I a turkey taco bowl dinner. I'm using 99% lean ground turkey, vegetarian refried beans(no lard), rice, tomatoes, avocado, taco sauce, and fresh cilantro. I'll make enough so I have an extra meal at work.

While I'm doing that, I cleaned up a package of boneless skinless chicken breast. Cut off all visible fat, it's divided into 1 six ounce piece (to add to a salad) and 24 ounces of loose pieces, which will be divided into 4 six ounce portions. Season however you wish.

While those 4 six ounce portions are cooking in the oven, I'm currently also cooking 2 sixteen ounce sweet potatoes in the same oven, and 180 grams of uncooked rice in bone broth on the stovetop, which I'll add chopped frozen spinach to when it's done.

I'll end up with 4 meals from that...

2 meals of 6 ounces chicken, 16 oz sweet potatoe, and

2 meals of 6 ounces chicken, 90 grams uncooked weight rice with spinach.

Plus I still have that single 6 ounce piece of chicken to chop up and toss on a salad on my low cal/carb day.

Almost no extra time, as I'm cooking it all right alongside dinner anyway.

I’ll add some of my go to daily foods
Pasturized eggwhites
No sugar added Canned fruit or fruit cups
Almonds
Peanut butter
Bananas
Raisins
Apples
Apple sauce
(Fruit in general) I like to eat a variety
Fat free cheese sticks
Fat free Greek yogurt (oikos)
Minute rice cups
Instant oat meal no sugar added
Hydrolyzed whey protein
Rotisserie chicken (pooh suggested it)

Base your diet around eating lean protein, fruits and vegetables.
It’s damn hard to over eat chicken breast, white fish, fruits and vegetables.

If you get hungry make sure you’re not actually thirsty. If you’re truly hungry then eat more protein.
It’s important to try and learn what your body needs as opposed to what you’re craving that sounds good.

Motherfucking cottage cheese. I eat a borderline ridiculous amount of it.

Crazy macros and it’s great with hot sauce.

I work on a boat. Every day I carry 12oz of lean ground beef or chicken breast, 600 grams of jasmine rice and a protein shake. If I can do it while cooking in 100 plus heat on a boat, you can do it wherever you are.

There are no fast food options
