  • Magazine articles, books and newspaper articles from well-established companies

Yeah... No. "Well-established companies" include MBNBC, ABC, CBS, Fox and so on. There has to be more to it than that.

People just have to get their news from a variety of sources. There are news aggregation services like Ground News, and they even tell you how the news source leans politically. Or you can just pick your favorites and try to get a sampling from different services, ideally which offer different perspectives.

There are "citizen journalists" who are quite good as well. Lots of accurate news comes out of the Russian Ukrainian war this way.

In the end, people have to decide if the "news" passes the smell test and if the source can be trusted.

It's the last weekend before Election Day, and the candidates are campaigning in the Sun Belt.

Will it make any difference now?

This close to it , I don't think there are any undecided voters left. I could be wrong.

I don't think so, I think the cake is cooked. Early voting, while not as popular as the last Covid cycle, is very high and the estimates of "undecided" voters is 0.4 percent.

At this point, its not about persuading anyone, but motivating them to get out and vote. Also, they have to stay out there. Neither candidate can afford to look complacent, especially in these 24/7 news cycles where every little thing that is said, or not said, or done, or not done, is over analyzed, is spun, is twisted... They need to stay in the news until the last poll closes Tuesday.

Was this the asshole that started a fist fight with old women because they asked him to take his hat off ?
No, I think that was somewhere here in Texas. Not to say people aren't punching old ladies in PA, but I only knew of the Texas one.
