Kickoffs should be eliminated. Possessions start at the 20, unless there was a turnover/punt.

While we're at it, bring the goalposts closer together. FG percentage is too high.

I agree with you on both of these points.

Guys are hitting 55 yarders like they're 40 yarders.

Any and all kickers should be made to wear the dresses that don't fit the QB's in my humble opinion. (y) 💯

The first time I saw the new kickoff I thought I was having some sort of brain malfunction. I saw the ball in flight but no one was moving. Why even have the kickoff if it’s gonna be like this. I’d almost, almost.. rather watch the Pro Bowl and I haven’t watched that in probably 20 years.
Not allowed to kickoff the ball anymore because someone might get hurt.

Have to rat on yourself and inform the other team you are gonna trick them doing an onsides kick

Can’t touch the QB

Defensive players downsizing in size because knocking the shit out of the opposing team and playing aggressively is too dangerous

Yup. They’ve turned into a bunch of pussies

What a terrible contract, off 1 decent year. I said at time they should of franchised Jones & sign Barkley

I agree 100%.

I think this will go down as the greatest example of QBs being overvalued. They chose to keep a below average QB over a top tier RB.

Do you think the Giants will lose the rest of their games?

I think Devito comes in & gives them a spark. I’m sure there thinking about draft position but if put that aside I think they can win a couple games

I want to see 10-6 games in the snow.
That’s just selfish! Putting your wants before a qb’s cold feet. These are blue collar guys mind u, scraping by on a piddly 50 mil a year salary.

In all seriousness the best game I ever watched was 2-0. Was a highschool playoff game between two powerhouses. Everyone predicted a high scoring affair but they were just evenly matched. The 2 points came late in the 4th quarter by the punter stepping out the back of the end zone.

I don’t understand why the NFL feels this need to turn it into a track meet. I mean don’t most mma fans like to see people stand toe to toe and throw bombs? Yet they don’t take the ground submission out of the sport.

LOL 😂😂

It does always make me laugh when people call the Lions a "blue collar football team."

I think the biggest money makers moving forward are sports betting (including prop bets), daily fantasy and other things that rely on the NFL being a game oriented around offense. These put more money in the owners' pockets, which results in bigger and bigger contracts for those cold quarterbacks.

You’re forgetting this is the best chance Cleveland has at being involved in a Super Bowl.

I sure hope the NFL rewards the city with one after they get a ridiculously overbuilt stadium.

I'd imagine they are also aiming to land WrestleMania, Final Four, Taylor Swift and other major events.

I’m sure Cleveland will get one at some point. Detroit, Indy, Minnesota and maybe a few others have gotten one up north.

And did you really have to include Taylor Swift? 🤣 They just gotta play KC at home.
