I may be switching my work schedule and gym schedule to where I’ll be working out 445am-545am before my shift.

I would be waking up around 4am.

I have always been a workout at the end of the day type of guy or at least after a full breakfast.

Looking for recommendations on a quick little meal to help me through the lift as I don’t workout on an empty stomach unless it’s low intensity cardio.

I have whey protein and some fast digesting carb powder I was thinking about that. Or a bannana and some Greek yogurt

Full meal will follow within the hour

These early morning workouts will be my lighter days and my odd days I’ll go with a better meal on me there those will be my heavier higher intensity days

Share your ideas or what has worked for you for some quick nutrition before an early as hell workout

Same situation.

I have 2 bananas and some coffee in the morning, at home.

Then I have an intra workout shake with 2 scoops of Gatorade powder (44g C), a a scoop of unflavored whey isolate (25g P), with some creatine and beta alanine added.

I then have a full hot meal waiting on my car for after my workout, that I eat on the drive to work. This meal is roughly 6 ounces of chicken breast, 16 ozs of mashed sweet potatoe with pumpkin pie spice sprinkled on it, with a tablespoon of olive oil, and 100 g of mixed veggies mixed in with it.

The hot meal I heat up in the microwave before I leave the house, and put it in an insulated bag, which plugs into the power port of my car, and heats it up further.

Here's the plug in heater. I've had this thing for years, worth every penny. I did buy a cheap knockoff version first, which shit the bed in about a month. 🫣
