Hi guys i'm mascolination lately I've been doing some research on blood sugar and diabetes disorder and I find some Glycemia refers to the concentration of sugar or glucose in the blood. It is your body's primary source of energy. It comes from the food you eat. Your body breaks down most of that food into glucose and releases it into your bloodstream. When your blood glucose goes up, it signals your pancreas to release insulin.

That's correct, pretty well known. Did you have an actual question or are you just sharing what you learned?

That must have been some pretty in depth research. Take a while?

It's actually only partially correct. It metabolizes all carbohydrates, with exception of fiber, into glucose.

It can, after several in between steps, convert parts of proteins and fats into glucose, in the absence of enough dietary intake of carbohydrates.

Was there a specific idea or goal that took you toward this? Good job on learning things. Knowledge is power
