Just wanted to say hello, I’m relatively new here, been lurking around for a month or so trying to learn as much as possible.

Iv been lifting on and off for 10 years and started back again around 6 months ago. Due to my previous occupation I wasn’t able to hold a steady training schedule but I now have more free time and want to see how hard I can push myself with proper training, diet, and sleep. No expectations but to get jacked at a reasonable weight.

Thanks for having me, this forum is chock full of great information. I’ll do my best to search before asking some dumb questions that’s probably been answered 7 times over.

Cheers.

Welcome aboard. Don't worry about asking a question that may have been covered before. The reality is, it's all been covered before. The dialog between brothers is what's important.

Welcome, it's good to hear such a spirited motivation and realistic goals!

I applaud your stance on not using anabolics thinking they're some kinda short cut to hard work and right dieting.

Nailing the basics and consistency is what it's all about.

Good on you trying to research everything before asking questions, although like a veteran Snake said no need to be afraid to ask even the most basic question just to be sure.

I agree with snake. At the end of the day it is better to ask a stupid or overly popular question and be burnt alive for it. Than do something stupid and crash and burn for it. Or worse. Get huge and buff in 3 weeks but didn't tell us how you did it.

Ouch. My wife doesn't like me looking under the hood of others. I'm certainly not able to take it for a little spin and give it a good squirt of gas. Best we just do pizza and vino. Terramaso savadi santi maria la familia

Haha not sure where I found that picture. To me it means to not fall victim to comfort. You can’t have growth without suffering, mentally or physically. The best lessons Iv had in life have been in the most difficult of times.

Thanks, I’m not opposed to anabolics, but for me right now I have a lot of progress to make before / if I would want to put that type of strain on my body.
I’m in no rush to become a monster in the gym. I need to put my time in and stack on as much lean tissue as possible before I would consider it.
Till then, I’m going to enjoy the ride and learn as much as I can.

Cheers.
欢呼。
