Hey everyone, I'm here to educate myself and possibly help others. I'm 48 years old with roughly 40 years of on and off training experience, currently on 1.5 year stretch of training. I've never competed in any shows for bodybuilding but I have done some powerlifting comps locally. I would say I'm a Powerbuilder, because I love both strength and hypertrophy training. My favorite Bodybuilders are from the 90s like Haney, Labrada, Yates, Ray, Levrone, Wheeler, Priest. I used to collect all the Magazines and read all the articles like it was the Bible.

Professionally I'm an IT Engineer for 25+ years for a Nuclear Power Plant and Its been a blessing all these years but as of late, it has gotten monotonous and I'm starting to look forward to retiring and maybe getting into something else. Possibly personal training.

As far as using gear, I have done about 3 superdrol cycles in the mid 2000s and in recent years I've done 3 AAS cycles
1st - Test-E. 2nd - Test-E, Deca 3rd - Test-400, NPP, Anadrol, Proviron. Next one id like to try is Test-E, Primo and Anavar.
I know I don't have time on my side and probably shouldn't be using some of the harsh compounds like Anadrol but I am of the philosophy that more is not better and tend to use moderate dosage. My diet is pretty good but could do alot better when it comes to shredding and loosing more body fat. I have no problem clean bulking and putting on size. My supplementation game is on point and love to try new ones to see what works.

In addition to learning more about gear I have started experimenting with Peptides. I recently used 3 months of BPC-157 & TB-500 in hopes of healing some tendon issues in my fingers. It didn't really work for that but I did feel better with lingering back pains. I'm currently running CJC/Ipamorelin and I have noticed much better sleep and moderate fat loss.

So I hope to fit in here with the community and contribute what I can. Thanks for having me...give me a shout sometime!

Welcome to UGBB. You know someone is gonna ask to see a picture of those 19.5” guns. So go ahead and post one. There’s a new guy here that swears he can’t get his arms to grow. This is perfect timing.

Also, what’s your diet and training look like?

Well, seems I was mistaken on the gun size. I don't know what I was thinking. I hadn't measure in a while and I was up late posting this intro. I did a quick measure and I'm 17.5 , LOL Sorry, 2 inches when it comes to Biceps is a big difference. But I'll play.... Here's a Pic from a few months ago.

Take it easy... I'm no pro but I assure you that's some muscle maturity there at the age of 48
Sorry for the stickers. I do work at a Nuke plant.. I have to protect my identity somewhat.

I read you first post and passed on a reply. I got this personal thing with a lot of gear talk on intro's, nothing personal. But I figured anyone that owned up to a mistake does deserve a Hello at minimum.

As for a 17 1/2" arm, that doesn't come without some serious work so much respect there. At 48 y.o., the playing field does change some but I if your health is there and you play it smart, you have a few more good years left in ya.

I apologize for my bad manners and I appreciate the etiquette coaching. I have this problem with over sharing and being too transparent. I'll do better.

Thanks for the compliments and yes I would very much like to get a solid 6 or 7 more years of enhanced training. Gaining the knowledge and applying it safely is the of upmost importance to me.

I would say right now my diet fluctuates between 1700 cals to 2700 cals daily. This coming Jan. I will start a serious low carb low fat diet. I came off a Bulking cycle last June and I'm trying to cut down on BF as much as I can before starting the cut cycle.

I train 5-6 days a week. I have a pretty bad ass Garage Gym at home. I started investing in it when Covid hit and went into lock down here in 3/20 . I tried to go back to the Local Sports Club but wasn't feeling it anymore and just went all out on Rogue, Rep and Sorinex equipment.

Typical split right now, going for moderate rep ranges and volume. I also incorporate alot of cardio at the moment. I own a treadmill, Elliptical and Recumbent Bike
Mon - Chest & Bi's
Tue - Back & Tri's
Wed - Legs
Thur - Shoulders
Fri - Core & Kettlebell Work

My younger years I followed Yates and Mentzer style of training but getting older I just cant handle the aches and pain anymore and the risk of injury.
