You can’t handle aches and pains from what? The heavier weight? Or the harder effort?I would say right now my diet fluctuates between 1700 cals to 2700 cals daily. This coming Jan. I will start a serious low carb low fat diet. I came off a Bulking cycle last June and I'm trying to cut down on BF as much as I can before starting the cut cycle.
I train 5-6 days a week. I have a pretty bad ass Garage Gym at home. I started investing in it when Covid hit and went into lock down here in 3/20 . I tried to go back to the Local Sports Club but wasn't feeling it anymore and just went all out on Rogue, Rep and Sorinex equipment.
Typical split right now, going for moderate rep ranges and volume. I also incorporate alot of cardio at the moment. I own a treadmill, Elliptical and Recumbent Bike
Mon - Chest & Bi's
Tue - Back & Tri's
Wed - Legs
Thur - Shoulders
Fri - Core & Kettlebell Work
My younger years I followed Yates and Mentzer style of training but getting older I just cant handle the aches and pain anymore and the risk of injury.
How do you do progressive overload then?
