Hello everyone, I’m 54yr old male, 6’1 230ish. Been working out most of my adult life but nothing serious in terms of lifting. For last 8 months or so I’ve been lifting to failure & seen some noticeable results & now I’m kind of hooked. So I’ll be reading & asking questions when needed. TY

Leaving your run at the title a bit late. But there is always veterans.

Just the same some of those 60+ guys put the kids of today to shame.

Keep kicking it old man.

Hi.
Thanks for the welcome Rick. I’ve pretty much always been a gym guy to stay fit, would do a few machines then 30-40 minutes cardio, but now been loving going to failure between 8-12 reps progressively. I’m 54 but feel good & maybe I can do this for next 10yrs. I’ve been reading a lot on here & am happy I found this place

I notice you posting, but mostly in political threads. That's great but I'm more interested in what your looking to get out of a body building forum, and what your goals are here.

How about you tell us more about yourself. What kind of lifter are you?

I’m posting on already existing active threads, I’m not starting topics. I’m reading a lot on here to learn, I’m not knowledgeable enough to chime in on bodybuilding threads

I just asked you 2 questions. What are you looking to get out of the forum, and what are your goals. There's not much to read into my post about. Don't read into something that's not there. 😂

Also, you don't have to be knowledgeable to participate in bodybuilding or training related threads. Questions are a great way to interact and engage while you are in the process of learning.

I thought I said my goals in intro. Always in decent shape but now concentrating on building muscle at an older age. Never did any steroids & not interested in it, but TRT has me curios. Are you a moderator?
