We often hear about how Ronnie "King" Coleman was the bodybuilder who trained most like a powerlifter. His lifts are legendary, and add to his aura as the GOAT of our sport.

But what if he had focused his energy and efforts strictly towards strength, and not bodybuilding? How successful could he have actually been in the other sport?

I believe he could have went pretty far, but his lifts were a side effect for the body he envisioned. Without that yo guide him he may have fallen from view long before. 2 sides to everything

Ronnie had unique genetics, incredible muscle mass and extremely high muscle density. His strength demonstrated in training videos (such as squatting and deadlifting over 360 kg) indicates that he had the potential to excel in powerlifting. Additionally, his mental toughness and work ethic could make him a standout athlete in the sport.
