First off, I'm natural, never taken PEDs.
Assuming your eating enough protein and calories, how long does it take of not lifting for muscle shrinkage and loss to occur?
For example, last week I hit back Monday. Then I had some very strenuous days of work (roofing), and practiced at the motocross track on Sunday which my lats, traps, and rear delts were very sore from that alone. Then this week I've been working and sick and haven't hit back yet this week.
Realistically the last time I lifted weights for back was Monday, with some intense but different exercise at work and on Sunday. I read online that it takes 2-3 weeks before muscle loss starts to occur, and now I'm bordering on 1-2 weeks. Do I need to worry about this?
Luckily I was able to hit chest this week and some arms and legs before I got sick. So I'm using back as an example, but I have always wondered this. Thank you
