I injected L-Carnitine for my first time today.

I watched Chase Iron's video on how to inject and am going by his guidelines. Since I did back and biceps today I injected biceps with an insulin needle. Other than some twitching as I worked the needle into the muscle it wasn't too bad. Within minutes the area felt a bit sore like the type of soreness you get from a good workout. It didn't affect my ability to workout so no issue there.

I wanted to ask; for those of you who inject L-carnitine - are you injecting into the muscles you train that day? Does that really matter? I'm also doing the loading phase where I'm taking 800mg split up into two doses for the first two weeks. Half before training and the other half after I get back from the gym.

dosed by bodyweight. don't you need at least this much daily anyway?

According to Chase, after the two week loading phase you decrease the dose by half.

I'm 222lb so I'm doing 800 for the loading and planned on going down to 400 after fourteen days.

I'll check out the podcast you provided. Thanks for that.

I've messed around with L-Car a bit. Tried it first from Empower Pharmacy - worst fucking PIP. Muscle was numb for at least 8 hours afterwords, sometimes 2 days.

Amino Asylum was 0 PIP.

I'll just be brewing it myself when I decide to get back on it. I always enjoyed being on L-Car.

What did you enjoy about it?
I felt better stamina at the gym, more energetic as a whole, and had better mental clarity.

The mental benefits alone are enough for me, just not enough to justify $1/2 per shot... which is why I will be brewing my own.

I brewed my own injectable, and was using 1g per day.

Maybe I'm not a responder... or maybe I didn't have enough muscle mass to benefit from it yet (don't know if that even matters here), but I can definitively say that I personally didn't feel or notice anything while taking it.

I'm the same as you. I ran it for a while too. I didn't really notice any benefit. Injecting that much volume each day got annoying when I really didn't respond to it. 🤷‍♂️
