None of that equates to proof that the integrity of the presidential elections are compromised.

To be honest I skimmed the last few pages but there seems to be an argument about voting and if it’s “real” or not. Real in the sense that it makes a difference or not. And if it’s manipulated or not.

It’s hard to believe that our vote actually counts. Like how can I begin to fathom that 50+ percent of the people that voted had voted for Biden? Take his politics away. This man showed serious mental decline during the election process. That alone would keep me from voting for him.

Not saying I’m a trump fan either. I think a system that has the two options and they are both 70+ years old is flawed.

While reading the book “this is how they tell me the world ends” I found it interesting that Ukraine does not allow electronic voting machines because they had proof (according to the book) that elections were manipulated when they had electronic voting machines.

I think it’s quite plausible that our election process could be tampered with via cyber. But I supposed it could be tampered with while using paper punch tickets and physical counting as well. Not that I have either proof or evidence of this either way. Just saying it’s possible.

On a side note ukraine has actively been taking their critical infrastructure off the net due to cyber attacks as well. But that’s a conversation for another thread.

I have thoughts and opinions but no real answers on this. At the end of the day there isn’t too much we can do about it anyway. The government and technology is too strong and we don’t have enough people with the stomach to take back control. Including myself.

I live my life the best that I can and play the game within the rules that have been laid out before us. The key is figuring out what the rules are and using them to our advantage. You can’t game the system if you don’t know what game you’re playing.

My advice is to stop bickering here and create the best life you can in the real world.

There are some real intelligent and interesting people on here and we could be learning from one another instead of fighting all the time. If we were to create a real sense of community here we could begin to help make each other better. Physical fitness (whatever that means for each of us) brought us here. That’s a common ground we can build off of.

I'm a software engineer and I can tell you with confidence that not only is this possible, there is significant reason to believe it is already happening. Google "Dominion Voting Machines" and you'll get tons of relevant info.

Wasn't this an issue in Florida back during the Bush election? I'm too young to remember exactly what the issue was, but I remember hearing a lot about "hanging chads" on the news.

So, this is where I'm losing people, I think. There is absolutely evidence and proof of instances of election fraud. Mail carriers throwing away ballots, people at individual polling locations putting in extra ballots, dead people voting, etc. These are individual occurrences, not a nationwide conspiracy orchestrated by a group of old men dancing naked around a fire while sacrificing goats to the Dark Lord Voldemort or whatever. And there is no proof that these individual occurrences had enough of an impact to alter the result of the elections in a meaningful way.

My advice is to stop bickering here and create the best life you can in the real world.

Who decides what is "truth". Is this what you decide what is "truth" ? The truth the media presents? The truth that government officials present to citizens?
