Good overall. If I’m around 2500 I actaully prefer it. My maintance is about 3500 though. 2500-3500 I feel best, but still good down to 1800-2500, just some slight hunger at night before bed cause I normally cut my eating early evening, I also sleep best that way. But, I’m about to go to bed so the hunger is no big deal. Sometimes I’ll fast a bit in the am instead of evening, it’s just up to when I’m most hungry.How are you feeling with the lower calories?

Well, 5 years or so back I was more into intermittent fasting and long fasts. Not even protein fasts, but just fasting like everyone else was on board doing then.That's a crazy amount of weight to push with no "fuel" whatsoever. 😮
Yes I'm down with that. Not so sure you would get a great show of hands for butter being a good fat. But fried veg in butter nothing better. Cept maybe pussy. You are mf strong dude. Especially with back/shoulders.I gravitate forward low carb high fat. Right now, high calories, so kinda high everything.
My typical fat sources are also my protein sources. eggs, 80/20 ground beef, steak, fish, vegetables cooked in butter, cook a lot with olive oil or avacado oil.
I don’t like super high carb. I get tired on and off all day, and feel like trash. For me now, that’s more than 300 grams of carbs a day consistently. One day at 400-500 and I’m fine. It’s like I absorb all the glucose my muscles can handle, and once I can no longer keep it depleted somewhat, I start crashing and feeling bad. I can eat fat all day and do great. That gallbladder down there is just a hummin along haha.
I know butter is controversial. I think it’s wrongly demonized. Better than olive oil? Nah probably not. Need to have it by the pounds? Nah probably not. Better than canola oil and processed cheap vegetable oil? I’d say heck yea. I’ll cook in lard before using that. Another thing I feel is wrongly demonized, but maybe not a top teir fat source. I’m plenty ok with being wrong about that too. But yea man delicious, absolutely. Trying to justify it? Maybe a little. Just trying to be fair.Yes I'm down with that.
