All the abuse I have put my body through has taken its toll. Outside the gym I'm an active boy with something always going on that demands some physical exertion. Well it's winter time and time to heal up. Planning on taking off a few weeks. Short of surgery, that never happens but it's time to heal, ramp back up and be ready to take my shirt off on the beach this summer.

So here's what I'm up to with all this down time. Ever hear of a diamond puzzle?

Too much skill needed for me. Think I will do something with my carpentry skills. A new deck or renovate a room.

Perhaps carve a small boy out of a stump of wood, attatch some strings to his legs and arms. Wish upon a falling star that he takes over doing this endless list of chaws my wife has for me on summer break.

I played pickle ball in 6th grade gym class way back in 2002 and I still hate it.

These diamond puzzles look pretty cool though. Just don't throw it at the wall if the Packers win later.

I totally get it Snake, as mentioned pickleball is the sport for “older” folks. My ol’ lady loves it, I faked an ankle injury and go horseback riding lol. Not for me, I do like puzzles, not the 5000 piece type but thinking man puzzles.I’ll have to look into what you speak of.

I always hear guys say, I used to hunt but (fill in the blank) I tell them all the same thing, get a bow or cross bow, get yourself in a tree stand at he end of October and you'll say, Yeah this why I did this.
