Hello everyone, I am happy I found this forum and I’m very eager to learn. Currently taking Test C as prescribed by my doctor that I have been on for the last 6 months. I’ve noticed a lot of changes that have helped me get back into it at 42. I’ve been working hard at the gym the last couple of years and interested in taking things a step further to be my best. Glad to be here. Look forward to learning all I can. Thanks!

Welcome to the Underground.

Don't be in a rush to up your dose, your body is already in essence on "a cycle", since you were so low before.

What dose are you on? Where does that put your testosterone level at? What's your estradiol level on your bloodwork? Does your Dr have you on any other meds, such as arimidex or HCG?

Currently taking 1 ML every other week right now. Not taking anything else. Last Doc visit he talked about going up to a shot every week. He said we would discuss it next appt which is around 2 more months away. My bloodwork results showed Low T before I started. The numbers were pretty low, don’t remember exactly. I have felt much better the last 5 months. Sleeping better and have way more energy and my recovery is good.

1 ml is volume, not dose.

Since it's RX Cypionate, it's either 200 mg/ml or 250 mg/ml.

And yes, you should ABSOLUTELY be taking shots every week, at the least. You'd be MUCH better off splitting your current dose, and taking half every week. Your Dr should know this. The half life dictates this, it's common sense

You haven't had bloodwork yet in 6 months???? If not, your Dr is incompetent. You should have had a first round of labs done around 2 months in, to get a look under the hood.

taking things a step further to be my best.

If I could go back in time the one thing I wish I understood better from the beginning is that increasing my dose would not increase the results.

dialing in my training and nutrition is what brought the most progress.

welcome to the IG

What cj said.
42 is a good age 4 an active man to take trt if needed. Some guys are lucky and don't need it ever.
Weekly at 100mg/0.5ml is a great place to start.
If you live in usa there are places that will do a paid blood test for you.

I'm much older than you and get my trt from an endocrinologist. She started of with a blood test the week before my first shot. Another 4 weeks in and a third ten weeks in.

As expected not only my test levels increased. But other bad things started to happen too. Some you may need drugs for others you just need to keep an eye on.

Ask around in general someone from your state will know where to get tests done. If you don't know what your looking at find someone here you trust and pm them your results or better yet take them to your gp
