I understand the saying time off should equal time on. However for me it just seems far too long in between cycles. What’s the thought on just simply a month to 6 weeks. I usually run basic sustaton or some kind of test roughly 300-400 mg a week cycles 12 weeks with maybe an oral at the beginning. I’m 22

What does your bloodwork say after a month?

You are getting bloodwork done, right?

Depends on how healthy you would like to be 10 or 40 years from now. And how long you plan on doing PEDS.

You are 22 and have run multiple cycles since you "usually run...".
The information is here. Feel free to read the threads.
Multiple cycles at 22 and only wanting to wait 4-6 weeks between cycles...why? Is this for sports? Are you wanting to go pro? You are headed down a dangerous road that will put you on early TRT at the least.

I don’t like the whole time on equals time off or time and half off.
It’s blanket advice based on nothing really that is taken as gospel.
Go by bloodwork.
Blood work will tell you if and when you’re recovered and if you’re healthy enough.
Blood work will tell you if you even need to take pct drugs.

What if you fully recover in a 2 months and health markers are good?
What if you’re still not recovered in 10-15 weeks?
There’s no hard and fast rules it’s individual.

If you’re doing cycle after cycle then you’re better off blasting and cruising.
From the sounds of it that’s where you’re headed anyway

That is sorta my thinking as well. I am staying up to date on blood as right now I’m doing PCT and then doing blood. I just feel as though I’d be healthier doing a small 150 dosage on a cruise through the year then only running 1-2 actual cycles. That’s where my head is currently with it.

that’s fine but still just remember to let blood work dictate everything.
Just weigh out the pros and cons of staying on.
also remember the financial aspect as well. You don’t wanna end up in a position where something happens and you can’t afford it

You’re a good man. Very true with that. Im also switching from just doctor blood work to more of a lab/online lab where I’m able to go more frequent. What are the suggestions from everyone.

If you’re to the point where you feel like you need to cycle often, @RiR0 is exactly right: it’s healthier to blast and cruise than to ride the PCT hormone roller coaster.

You’re only 22, though. Are you looking to get to a high level or just look good and lift serious weight?

Yes, I currently am in the middle of my PCT now so was waiting until the end of February to get my blood work done
Perfect. You also want to get periodic ECG and cardiac calcium score tests done. Bloodwork doesn’t tell the whole story as far as health implications go.

If you feel that you need more time off between cycles, then it might be a good idea to adjust your cycle length and frequency accordingly. For example, you could shorten the duration of each cycle to 8-10 weeks and run them every 6-8 weeks instead of 12 weeks. This may help you better manage your body's hormones without compromising results. However, make sure you talk to a doctor if you have any questions or concerns.

It all depends on the reason that you're taking the stuff. I've been doing this s*** for so long. I competed for the first time in 1990 I then competed from 1990 to 2001. By 2001 I was very close to turning pro but I also went to law school, once I graduated I had to give up bodybuilding which sucked actually. But what I did to maintain during "off" periods and what I know most other top level body brothers did during off times is just take a very little amount of testosterone and maybe deca. Basically they and I never came off Just go to a low dose for 8 to 10 weeks.

Say I do a 12 week cycle where it's a real run. After that I'll do 10 weeks of just 200 mgs test and maybe 200 MGS of deca. By doing that I held on to most of the muscle I gained, while it definitely allows you to recover somewhat now of course it's not going to recover as much as if you stopped but if you stop do you know how much you're going to lose? A whole lot I don't care how good your PCT is PCT will delay it but if you don't take anything at all again eventually you're going to lose everything. I was a competitor though I don't think I would recommend this for anybody else but a top level competitor.

When I was competing I didn't want to lose anything I mean I didn't want to have to start from behind when I was ready to go again so I would use the 200 of test and 200 of deca and when I was ready to train again I wasn't as good as I was after the last run but I was right there and I didn't have to take 5 weeks or 2 months to get back to where I was.

It all depends on what you're doing this for. I have no idea why you're doing this people have a million reasons. My reason was I was a bodybuilder I was a competitor and for me the best course of action was to never come off totally and that's what almost every pro and every national level competitor I knew did nobody comes off totally. I remember I think it was 1998 I was being trained by Chad Nichols I don't know if anybody heard of him he trained Ronnie Coleman, a his wife was Kim Chceski(I have no idea how that is spelled but she won the Miss Olympia like six times). I remember asking him once how long should I come off each year he looked me and laughed and said why would you ever come off? And that's a true story. That's what he told me off is simply lowering the dose to as low as you can without losing muscle.I iIs up to what your goals are I wouldn't say to do that if your goals are just to increase your muscle mass and look better you probably should do a PCT and take time off. Anyway good luck bro

Appreciate that brother. I enjoyed the story on that as well. I just want to make sure I’m staying healthy.
