Northeast PA here. We may have some shit weather, but we're rarely affected by some of mother nature's fury.

Dude I tell people all the time, yes I live in hurricane alley, but the good thing about hurricanes is you know when they are coming and have plenty of time to get the eff out of dodge if you care to.

Only a few in my lifetime caused me personally any damage. The stuff you see on the news is all the worst areas hit, and those areas are *usually* pretty isolated.

Yep, I've never been heavily affected by hurricanes. Hell, 90% of the time the storm takes a last second turn and hits some other poor town in the face instead.
