Work on your ankle mobility to be able to hit depth easier. Also, try ducking your feet a bit to open your hips and make it easier to hit depth.

You want to draw your elbows down and not back. Think about performing a lat pulldown and get your elbows down to your sides.

Some wear oly shoes to make it easier to hit depth (I used to do this too) but it's not addressing the problem.

That's quite a nice advice, you have shared here. I would definetly like to follow it when I do my next squats workout.

About the hamstrings, is the dead lift enough to train those or should I add leg curls?

Absolutely NOT. You should be performing A GOOD DEAL of hamstring work that works the attachment at both ends. Most are weak in the hams so focus on them and watch your squat and pulls go up.

I do believe that squats are the best way to get a good physique, and exercises like squats, pull-ups, push-ups, etc. work the core of the body, which is the most important thing for anyone who wants to have a good and strong physique.
