Hey so I’m 27 around 230lbs 6ft 2. I was in pretty decent shape not toned but skinny for my size (185lbs). Recently I had a baby girl with my wife and had to stop hitting the gym, lots of sleepless nights and ordering fast food. So I gained weight and lost my stamina. I have never been this heavy before and no longer have access to a gym member ship. I want to use the extra weight to gain muscle mass while also slimming down. Not a short process but I’m looking to make the transformation over the next 8-10 months. I have a 50KG dimness/bar set at home and a treadmill. Any advice or workout plans are appreciated

Pick one.
You're fat, start there.

You don't have access to a gym membership, meaning you cannot obtain one? Why?
Meaning use the treadmill on a big incline as hard as you can when you can. 10 minutes a day is better than nothing. Also remember how to cook. Even with small kids it is possible to put shit in a slow cooker and wait 5 hours for it to do the work. Lean meat vegetables and a little rice can make a one pot meal.

Anyone over 6foot can't purchase gym member in his country. Don't you know anything Andrew. Google gym membership rules dummy. I'm guessing he hasn't the cash or time.

If you post in general about how to train at home for free I'm sure you can get in a solid workout.
@snake I think it was said he started his home gym with a steel pipe two blocks and buckets of water.

I do not have a car or license yet.
Can I suggest that you address this first?

You can lean out while doing what you need to get a license and car as well, but damn dude.

Check out WODWell and it'll give you a lot of different exercises to choose from.
Priorities, dude. You're a father now.

I was once skinny for my 6^2 at 180, It all depends on how bad you want it .

Union Pacific, we can handle it if you never heard that before, you were an embryo when when everyone knew what that meant.

Welcome my brother. There are definitely things you should understand before you take the leap that I think you want to.
