I've been "in the gym" since 2013. Girlfriend started going so I did as well. I was also going back to school for an associates at this time so I remember doing a self urinalysis for a bio class and seeing my pee light up when exposed to the glucose reagent. Thought I made myself diabetic so I ran to the doctor. Turns out it was just the entire box of oreos I at the night before causing the surge of glucose in my urine. Still was worried about being prediabetic so I started looking to learn how to eat. I was full blown caught up in that bulletproof guys nonsense after seeing him on Rogan so I started follow that kind of diet. Low card, moderate protein, high fat.
It wasn't the best, but that combined with 45-50 of stationary bike before every gym session meant I saw a pretty significant body recomposition. No real gains, just went from 155 untrained dyel to 155 less doughy but still dyel.
Stayed consistent in the gym for a couple years and started to add muscle. Got up to 165 by 2015.
I start getting real into opioids at this point. 2015-2018 was rough. Stayed in the gym but I was always getting high. I was constantly on xanax and abusing oxycodone when I could get it, dope when I couldn't. Needless the say the gains weren't really coming. 2018 I get arrested and for the next 2 years I'm in and out of court waiting to find out if I'm going to do actual time. I balloon up to my absolute fattest ~205lb during this period, but right before sentencing I come back down to about 185lb. Final court date comes beginning of 2020 and I only get a few months. It was drug shit too so eventually they put me in the good boy part of jail. Covid starts shutting shit down so by the time I'm out the entire world in on hold.
Work some dead end jobs during covid, was able to cardio myself into decent shape. Once the gyms started allowing masked workouts I started a regular routine again and was able to gain back enough of a physique that people at the gym started asking me for advice.
July 2021 I took ostarine for 12 weeks. Felt awesome, physique looked enhanced, never got blood work. Wanted to see if I could recover naturally after the ostarine cycle so I didn't take any pct. Balls felt a little weird for a couple weeks then everything went back to normal.....
Beginning of 2022 I finally land a decent job, still training consistently but not focused. Didn't have a goal in the gym. the workouts become less and less intense. More and more fluff work, no cardio, legs once every 10 days. Despite this physique hold together till around the holidays 2022. Work is going great, start earning a very good reputation. Maybe around Thanksgiving time I'm getting fat. Like a new kind of fat. Deep visceral fat ballooned my belly up. I've always had gyno but now it was bigger and got wider, started really looking breast like. Still haven't gotten blood work. Granted all this time my libido is off the charts so I assumed my test levels are fine and my shitty physique was mostly to blame on my half assed workout and dog shit diet (it mostly was). I'm also experiencing the most insane fatigue. Literally always tired and ready to nap. Again, I wasn't taking care of myself so I figured this was just the chicken coming home to roost.
Finally get blood work, of course I'm totally shut down. Trt nation started me on 200mg/week. We've just arrived at the end of the first week. Haven't had to drink coffee in the last three days. Been using aspirin to get past the withdrawal headaches but not really feeling any lethargy. I wake up earlier and feel awake. I dont have to crawl to the coffee machine and slug back cups until I'm awake. Trained shoulders yesterday and they are starting to look a litte different.
This is the only place I can keep a log and feel accountable. Nobody else in my life really gives a shit about lifting. I'm not looking to lift the most, but I want to have a nice physique and be able to run around with my girlfriends nieces and nephews without getting completely drained/injured.
I appreciate you guys letting me participate in the board. I use my sense of humor to navigate most male interactions and it often comes off as stupid/retarded. I certainly rubbed a few people the wrong way at first. I've found this forum invaluable as someone very new to peds. I don't have much novel insight to add yet. Hopefully in the coming years I will. Until then I'll be keeping this training log. Open to critiques and suggestions.
Feb 1, 2023 - Got to the gym late and it was somehow still packed with highschoolers. Ended up doing a truncated hamstring workout and 20 minutes of cardio 130bpm-150bpm.

Feb 2, 2023 - Shoulders and Arms: Talked to my trt doctor when I got to the gym. They settled my nerves about the recent high blood pressure issues and that really set the tone for a great workout. Felt fantastic the whole way through. Noticed a slight twinge in my right shoulder into the second movement but did not persist past the rear delt flys, and I dropped the weight a little for the rears just to be safe. Doesn't feel like something that will be an issue after a couple days off from pressing movement. Finished with 30 minutes of cardio 130bpm-145bpm.
(Any movement with a "+" next to it indicates an increase in the weight used since the last training session)
