Second bro got the qualification too, natural to boot. Climbed his way out from the bottom and battled it out of being initially placed last after I was unable to convince him to do more than two poses during his individual posing routine as he was very anxious. Was yelling cues for posing for classic physique class B, getting it dialed in.
Awesome day! Not going to do an untested national level show as a natural although he could hold his own on a local level. Absolutely peeled, not even yohimbine was used.

Learned a lot about show days and made adjustments from one going on stage to the next.

Thanks man, I appreciate the advice. I got some help with stretches from some friends who work with a well known Physical therapist here and have had similar issues and some of the flosses sure do feel good.
What happened to your back when you injured it?
Most recently, I was db pressing 80s and just picked them up a little carelessly. No tension in my lower back, felt it pull or strain or whatever so sharp I had to catch my breath. It was hard to get out of bed the next day.

Last note, my coach is very happy with fat loss this week, we are cutting EQ and bringing out the queen, trenbolone. 75mg e2d. Nothing crazy. And a refeed tomorrow.
I’m starting to get hungry now, and watching my friends eat burgers and cheesecake after the show was making me feel like I was fucking starving hahahaha.

Damn bro,be careful til it’s all fully healed. That sounds pretty scary, definitely don’t want to re-injure.
I completely changed how I pick up plates and DBs now haha because I’m pretty paranoid. Might not ever conventional deadlift again tbh and I’m a bit spooked about bikes now 😂

Now you are getting experience as a bodybuilder and coaching and working as a handler at shows , that is excellent man ! You will have a long career down any path you choose doing this.

Thanks man I appreciate it! I hope that’s true as I keep learning more and getting opportunities to do that kind of stuff. whether it is coaching a few people, or getting opportunities for doing ads for gym equipment companies and so on, it definitely makes me optimistic. That being said even outside of financial opportunities, I’m just thankful I am seeing some other benefits outside of personal physique progress, because they are extra blessings. seeing my friends do better than they expected at a show because we got some posing improved also means a lot just to be involved in a community. I feel bodybuilding does improve my life a lot and it’s good to see others get something from the sport too.

Monday; chest
Weight 98.25kg
- weight went up after refeed. 2kg back to 100kg body weight from 700g carbs.
-strength returned to some extent after adding a little trenbolone.

I am a huge fan of tren and mast right now. Holding strength very well despite a 10kg loss of body weight. These cycles for bulk and cut have really been having solid effects on my strength.
My incline went back to normal, 140kg for 9 reps, which is bigger than before and flat seated machine press 130kg for 11 with a strong tempo.

Before I herniated my disc, my overhead triceps extensions were getting weaker, and after herniating my disc, I couldn’t extend them overhead without my back hurting. This session i not only was able to do them pain free but added weight back to where I previously was before I started getting weaker with less calories.

On my hamstring session I was also able to RDL, but only for stretching and warming up. I will not load anywhere near what I used to for the time being. I took off 100kg, just to start to restore mobility in the hamstring and lower back.

Hamstring tie in is basically back, and quad separation to glute for tie in is returning very lightly.
Lower midsection starting to tighten up finally as well.
Should be getting close to 10% body fat soon

Over the weekend I also helped to direct some poses for some body builder’s photo shoots with a professional photographer. This was an interesting experience and it helped me understand more details about posing a bit better, as well as get a lot more creative about poses and presentation. Hopefully this will help when I do more than basic front back and sides for check ins

Diet is slightly smaller. 30g less carbs for meal one, everything else the same, no refeed this week.

Weekly goal
My coach wants me to lose 1.5-2kg//3-4.2lbs of fat this week so my goal is to get to 95.15-95.75kg.
Last week despite the refeed I lost 1.4kg/3lbs.
With the refeed my morning fasted high weight was 99.8, lowest was 97.15

Cardio
Cardio is up to 45 minutes.
This is higher than last cut, but less clen.

injury progress
My herniated disc is good enough now for me to ride my bike, so I will be doing 30 minutes bicycle (commute to work) and 15 minutes stairs, to get some nice hard work in.

At this point considering it a minor injury, and my quality of life has returned to normal for the most part.
This Monday my new term at work starts and I should be good to go even though it is a very active job.

Finally noticing inner hamstrings from behind, in rear bicep which is something I didn’t see last time! Not very obvious but this is a big one for me. I really want to continue to make that more visible and with better definition over the next week. Little wins

Hamstrings and arms today
Had a big step in the right direction.
I can finally Romanian deadlift again!
Got 10 reps at 140kg/310lbs even with herniated disc. I didn’t feel comfortable going heavier for a set of 8 yet but that felt good. My mobility is still not all the way back but really happy about this. I also did a set of 100kg/225lbs for 15 after with a bit deeper stretch at the bottom, and can pull off the floor with full hinge.
I’m pretty certain that by the time I’m bulking again I’m gonna start it around 180kgs/400lbs like I left off and I am looking to try to push it to 220 through the weight gain phase, when I get there.

Front neutral and a rare ab and thigh since I’m getting lean enough to work on this pose.

monday: after adding tren my regularity changed. I’m a bit slow with bowel movement, so my scale hasn’t changed much since im holding my food in the morning. I’m slightly under my previous average due to this fact, but composition is improving. On tren, not surprised my digestion took a bit of a hit.

My strength is barely holding on at this point, I was doing 130kg x5 for incline bench today. Flat press is still a solid 140kg x 9 after the incline. But I’m certain when I rebound I will blow up again so it’s just part of the process. Man I can’t wait to slap 180 on my presses.

Took a back photo in different lighting today to see if I could see hamstring out in different light. It’s real faint but I got it just first time hitting the pose. I can see the inflammation on my left erector from the herniated disc though. It’s not looking very conditioned due to the inflammation and I’m not flexing it.
Legs coming back, full quad separation from side, but not sharp, and veins on abs again.
That being said, midsection still has fat that needs to be removed.

Leg day,
weight 96.65 finally took a damn shit before weighing. Still off the mark this week. I don’t know how I will miraculously lose a kg over night so I am interested to see how my protocol will be effected since results this week in terms of scale weight were not as expected. That being said my average weight still has been getting lower progressively.

I was able to do leg press horizontal the first time today in weeks instead of the standing one. My ROM was quite poor though. I will try to improve this next week as my spine recovers. Same goes to RDL. I really want to get my mobility back as soon as possible and be able to lift fully normally.

Took front double biceps today to start to monitor change in the pose as well

Wed: rest

Physical therapy: massage, dry cupping (bamboo cups), menthol massage after the cupping

Weight: 95.83kg/211lbs
So on a weekly day to day basis I did drop a a significant amount when compared. Here is a daily side by side of weights.

After dry cupping and so on I could touch my toes again, and hinge a lot better. I think doing some work on my hamstring helped a lot, to relieve the tension in the muscle, because it felt very short and tight. It was very bad when I had the sciatica and nerve impingement, and it felt like my muscles in my leg were shorter than my leg at the time.

Cupping really works ? I was always skeptical about that , thought it was just some hippy nonsense. I'll have to do some more reading on it.

ive done it a number of times and it seems to help, and is basically low risk for muscle tightness, soreness etc or if you want to increase blood flow somewhere (which is the theory). I don’t really mess with acupuncture and so on though cus I’ve had people make injuries worse with that lol

Added more clen (80mcg) this is where I capped out last cut.
Doubling my anti estrogen medication too.
Less carbs.
My coach wants me cutting at least 6 more weeks. Shooting to get down to 90.5kg
This would mean a 6-7lb increase in muscle mass from last bulk.
A little slower than I had expected but this is the name of the game. Patience and persistence and I suppose that is what realistic MUSCLE growth not just indiscriminate weight gain looks like, or delusional imaginary gains for a normal guy with normal genetics.
I think in a few weeks I will really feel the hunger and my insulin sensitivity is going to really start to get better. I’m getting fucking hungry now so I think soon the willpower is really going to kick in.
It’s been 2 months without any prescribed cheat meals, so just another 6 will be no skin off my back.


Was also able to finally touch the floor, and bend over so I’m gonna get full ROM RDLs in this week. Very excited for that, hopefully this means I can get normal leg press to my coach’s requirements. Maybe will also try very light hip thrust this week.

Shoulders and chest day was good
Now overhead is getting a bit weaker on this cut.
Fasted weight of 95.6kg

A bit more on the gut needs to come off before I feel shredded. That being said, 3 meals before training and at least 2L water has been drunk before I took these pictures. on chest getting much clearer. getting better separation, but still a ways to go.
