UG labs vs Prescriptions from labs in America

Hey everyone, first off - wasn’t sure if this was appropriate for the source part of the forum since it’s not going to be asking about specific sources, I took a look in there and it seemed most threads were related to validating sources. If it is, my bad please move it.

Anyways, I have previously bought from sources that I have found on this board, and I had no issue with that gear. I am now looking to get some gear for my next cycle and as I’ve been looking into it I’ve seen videos from IFBB pros and various other guys that are juicing saying that they get some of their gear prescribed through a clinic. Of course it only applies to certain compounds, but it is legal.

I’ve seen them mention two big name TRT clinics (won’t name since it may be deemed sourcing?) and apparently they write prescriptions for cycle level dosages. I don’t get the legalities behind it, but it’s happening. My next cycle will be just test so that’s doable for me and I would much rather have a legal vial than one that could get me in trouble.

Wanted to see if anyone here has gotten a prescription from a clinic before high enough for their cycle, if so how did it all play out?

Did you have it tested? I personally wouldn't trust ANY of the sources that advertise here.

Thats how Dr's lose their licenses so I highly doubt you'll get a cycle dose prescribed. I've been wrong before though so who knows.

Could just get a TRT dose prescribed, supplement the cycle with a UG (if you have one you trust, which even then is a risk) dip your levels before doing any Dr pulled bloods, think thats a very crude explanation of how some guys do it.

I could see a clinic giving more then is actually needed for true TRT and then stock piling some for a cycle. Same with some of the other drugs. And just save those up and use on cycle.

yeah that’s always what I’ve expected, seems there’s just no way they can operate like that without getting shut down.

It wasn’t one of the sources that was advertised here, it was just a source I found through interacting with UGBB. He’s retired now though so my alternative to finding another is probably going to start with talking to one of these clinics, seems like if they actually write me the prescription, from a legal standpoint they would get in trouble not me.

Have you tried trt through primary or endo? You can manipulate your test levels to appear low to get on try.

Could you please point to literature on how it's done? Seems as my endo doc isn't very interested in helping out or wants a "better" evidence to cover his behind.

All depends on what you and the doctor discuss. All and all, I've heard it's very straight forward and easy to get a script for test only. So long story short, if your willing to pay for it, can get away with about whatever your willing to pay for.

I have my natural total t at 1470 and free t at only 4.1. This noodle treats my thyroid (graves disease) and hopes it helps bring free t up. Strange approach. Id imaging test for SHBG at least. I'm loosing weight and hyper thyroid increases metabolism, so technically I should gain something.

Hyperthyroidism results in high testosterone and high SHBG levels. With the T3/T4 numbers you have and a testosterone level of 1,470 (high) he didn’t need to do anymore testing to know it was your thyroid and Graves’ disease. Your doctor will get the thyroid to do normal stuff and that will also take care of the SHBG and unfortunately bring your testosterone levels down into the normal range too.

Don’t confuse everything by adding testosterone now. Your doc will see that’s what you’re doing. Get the Graves’ disease under control first though man.

Thank you for clarification. This helps. Is there a way to preserve what's left or start from scratch again? BCAA just won't have much effect. I have ongoing IBD for 21 years and was down to 140 on Prednisone. Seems like that went away once I hit the gym again. 14 months mild symptoms. No more meds. It was a 21 year cycle .

These are good questions for your doctor. It sounds like he’s doing the correct thing. Once your thyroid is doing normal, you can see where you stand.

Keep in mind lots of Pros I see talking like that are either in other countries where you can use and possess steroids, so perhaps prescribing off label or dosages are less strict. I just saw a guy that was 250+ pounds talking about his prescription for 50mg anavar a day plus whatever else he could get.

I don't think you even need a script in some countries. I saw one of those super gyms in one of the Arab countries straight up selling juice in the shop in the gym.
