Close up body inspection by judge's. Allows the small details to be inspected and considered.

The only way to make bodybuilding respectable and objective is to judge the dick and balls

Why not ? Why do these guys have to be midgets

It's rare to see a tall guy with that type of physique. Andrew Jacked is around 6'2" and I believe Samson Daoda is over 6 feet so there a handful of guys out there.

Even when you go back through the decades, the average height of bodybuilders is about the same as the average height of a man. Which is right around 5'9".

I'm 62. I like being a big son of a bitch. I compete occasionally, but don't treat the competition as an ends of itself, but rather just use the fact that there is going to be competition event on such and such date as a way of motivating myself to focus and train harder than I would otherwise, without the upcoming event.

The competition is with myself. You can't control who is going to show up, so it makes no sense to focus on a particular "placing." If you are the best that shows up, in the eyes of the judges, then you win. If not, but you surpassed your level of size and conditioning from your last show, then you still win, because the competition is only with yourself.

You can definitely get carried away with taking too much gear and taking the placings in the contests too seriously. Although I consider myself a bodybuilder, my real goals have little to do with competing, and mostly have to do with being a big son of a bitch and not getting fucked with. I can say that the people I know in their 60's mostly look like shit, are feeble little fucks, and I am way healthier than most of them.
