I'd also point out that gaza, was one of the most heavily surveillanced places on earth with israeli drones patrolling the skies constantly, and israeli patrol boats literally denying Palestinians the right to fish thier own waters

The casualties themselves of Oct 7 2023 as the truth comes out, were mostly israeli helicopters firing indiscriminately into crowds of civilians, israeli police, idf and hamas with the intent to just kill everybody

Hamas was blamed for all of it. Just like someone other than israel is always to blame when Israel bombs apartments in Lebanon or Syria

Israel intentionally has tied itself to the world's Jewish people and uses them as sort of human shields by accusing anybody critical of the Israeli states actions, no matter how barbaric to a simple unreasonable hatred of Jewish people in general.

That isn't fair to them at all, for some big reasons. First many, even some of the most outspoken opponents of Israel's actions are Jewish people themselves, as just like anybody, they're not a monolithic block.

Secondly and maybe even worse is the backside that by proxy, Israel ties itself and it's actions to Jewish people in general, the heinous and malevolent actions of the state itself create the anti semitism they pretend to protect against. And they do it intentionally in order to say "see, see, we told you they all hated you" and further deepen association of the state and the people in the eyes of the world

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said "intense fighting" would resume in Gaza if Hamas did not return hostages by noon Saturday, without specifying whether he was referring to all captives, or only the three that had originally been planned for release.

The ceasefire was called into question when Hamas claimed Monday that Israel had violated key provisions, prompting it to cancel the release of three more hostages on Saturday.
