Just following the protocol on the board here. Got testosterone tested due to multiple symptoms. Home test read 197 and went to Doc who ran some tests and referred me to an endocrinologist. They sent me for labs and came back at 310. Since they only treat under 300, they sent me packing.

On TRT with a nation now, it’s been a couple months but libido, energy, and spirits are up since starting. Placebo or not, I feel better. Wish I could have got a script in the first place. Seems like there is a 500% up charge on the stuff I get now. Is what it is at this point. Will get a blood draw here in a couple weeks to see what it shows. But things are definitely better it seems.

Just started up some cardio again after a couple years. Last time that, mixed with just lifting some dumbbells dropped me from 220 to 190. Cutting back and drinking too much put me back where I started after a couple years.

Anyways, that’s a little intro for ya.

Well it was long but seemed honest. Heard the story of you nearly get trt but not quite a million times. It is a shame but guess a line must be drawn somewhere.
I pay 125 bucks for 4ml of trt so it is expensive everywhere. But it comes with free blood testing and specialist advice so for me it is good value.
Hi. Welcome. And nice intro.

Welcome to the ugbb!

It's possible that due to your poor lifestyle your hormones took a dip and then since low T levels lead to less motivation and drive, you have regressed. Naturally.

While I think you could have fixed your issues and raised T levels without needing synthetic Testosterone by fixing your diet and training and managing sleep and stress better.

It is what it is and I myself blast and cruise, mostly I'm on TRT+ right now and intend on staying here long term. So I won't judge your decision, but I won't and can't say it was wise.

After all it's your life and you're a grown up.

The resolution of symptoms you describe lasts anywhere from few weeks to 6 months. Then you will start to feel more or less normal. It's called a honeymoon phase for a reason.

So continue on adapting the healthier and improved lifestyle, it is going to help you in the long run. As you get used to T levels and stabilize.

If you choose to enhance yourself with peds, make sure you understand and weight in risks vs benefits first and only then act.

Diet and training is much more important and no amounts of synthetic hormones will help much if you're lacking in that.

Good luck on your journey.
