Needle Size & Gauge

Hello Everyone,

I'd like to know what size of needles do you use for oil based roids injections? I've been using 20Gx38mm but the needle is too thick and too long, I always insert half needle in the muscle but I'm thinking to switch to 25Gx13mm so that I can stick all the needle in the muscle when I inject and smaller needle holes won't leave as much marks as bigger ones.

Please share what needle size and gauge you use and for what kind of gear.

I think the 20g is just a drawing needle, then switch to a 23g.

I'll use 25g 5/8"(15/16 mm) if injecting more than 1 ml. I'll draw with a thicker needle then switch out for injecting.

I'll use a 30g 1/2 inch(12/13 mm) insulin needle for 1 ml or less.

I use 25g 1” for glute injections
29g 1/2” insulin for trt in the delt

I use 29g 1/2" slin pins for everywhere(delts, pecs, tris and quads) but glutes. I use 25g 1" for them but rarely inject there.

I think length depends on how lean you are honestly. You need to be able to get into the muscle.

I know.....one time after I drew with the 18g I thought I'd just try and pin with it but it was taking too much effort to try and push it in so I said eff this :^ /

The only 29g I use is for when I inject in the dick, 4 nights a week .. couldn't imagine using it for oil base like Sus 250 or Primoteston. It would take forever, and the plunger would bend if you applied too much pressure.
Having a 3ml syringe full of oil base mix with a 25g is hard enough .. 23g, nice and smooth and goes in quickly. Might leave a bruise in the lat, but way better than the frustration with a 25g.

21G x 1" in the glute. I bury it every time. After reading what everyone else is doing, I'm going to try the 25G x 5/8 pins I have. Looks like 1" pins may be excessive.

And insulin syringe for anything less than a milliliter.

I just hold it upside down and let it drip in there. Takes a while with cyp.

If you know you are already inside the muscle, there is no law saying that you have to have 100% of the needle in you!

Thank you, everyone!
Reading all your feedback, I decided to go with 21Gx1.5" for drawing and 25Gx5/8" for injection. Also both Luer Lock because I remember few times when I pushed it too hard, syringe slipped out of the needle and I wasted few shots :-(
