That is correct. You can take pictures and bypass them saving to your phone/device.

This is going to be done with protonmail. It only works with the app though.

Once in the app-

Hit the paperclip (link). Then it will show a camera and paper clip side by side

Click on the camera and you're gtg.

Look through your pics gallery and see for yourself.

I haven't tried any apple devices with it, they are supposed to be the same. I would run a test pic first though.

They designed it to work like this.

but the goal is to take a pic and send it to someone on protonmail without ever having the file on your phone though? when has anyone ever wanted to do this?
