Second test E cycle. 5 weeks in got a blood test. Results for AST were elevated. Currently not on any AI although i probanly should be because my estrodial came back at 62.

Other than that before i started the cycle i was taking cardarine for a few weeks to lower my cholesterol as well as melanotan 2 for tan and possible lipid benefits.

Been on cruise dose before this.

What now.

Im assuming it has to do with either the cycle or the melanotan 2 because my levels were always good before hand.

I forgot to add an important detail that even i forgot about until just now. I started taking powdered creatine supplement which i haven't taken in a long time. 5 grams per day.

I dont drink alcohol at all or do any drugs. I live a reasonably healthy lifestyle. Boxing twice a week. weight lifting 2-3 times a week.
I indulge in unhealthy sweets sometimes (cookies, ice cream)

Did you work out within 7 days of blood test. Simple exercise can greatly elevate AST and /or ALT levels. Obviously medication can increase it. If you did work out within 7 days I would get another test no creatine or workout for 7 days prior. Were you sick or suffer any other injury to any part of your body recently?

This number is meaningless without baseline blood work/lab results to compare it against.

if you look to the right of the 62 on the AST levels, youll see my baseline test i get a few weeks prior was 27. The range is 0-40.

I have never been out of range with AST even so i was kinda shocked when i saw these results this morning

Any comments on why its elevated and what i could do?
are you taking any medication? Either over the counter or prescribed?

Did you do a workout (cardio or weight training) 24-48 hours before you got lab work done?

Lastly we are not doctors... if you don't like the feedback here, or don't feel it's relevant, then go talk to your doctor instead.

All I know is, its not from Test E. But it could be all that other shit. And it could be a lab error. Or a total biological aberration.

Mine was shockingly high as if I binged or had an injury.

It dropped back within a week without any seeking reason.

yeah i mean i get punched in the face by a giant 26 year old 6’4” 260lbs gorilla twice a week in boxing so im always beat up and inflamed so that might explain it. I definitely worked out as well at least 2 days within the blood test, if not the night before. I have had tons of bloodtests done and never saw it elevated so this was understandably alarming to me. I was not aware that these factors could throw something off that is so important to know .

Im on vacation currently and only on test e. No creatine, no cardarine, no melanotan. I guess my best course of action would be to just chill till i get home monday and retest.

Possibly a lab error. They had trouble this week sending out reports. Likely an injury or from the other stuff now that i have read through the other comments. Ive been off the other stuff and just on test e so ill take it easy, rest up and get retested next week when im home from vacation

I carefully looked at my schedule and text messages to evaluate everything i took and did.

Activity:
i did an extremely brutal boxing match on the 18th. Had a normal day with no workout the 19th, and got blood drawn @ 8am on the 20th.

On the 18th i went 30 rounds with 3 fighters. By the time i left my back was significantly inflamed and i needed help getting into my truck. I assume i took some ibuprofen because i was hurting really bad.

Medication:
on the 18th i took a cialis later in the day
and 20mg of cardarine before the boxing matches

After jogging my memory about the boxing matches, i completely forgot i took ibuprofen as well. Strong ones.

i now have good reason to believe the likeliness of it being elevated was from boxing and the medication i forgot i took that day. i always appreciate everyones feedback.

got knocked in the head too hard and forgot i even took that stuff.

Muscle breakdown will skew it for any reason. Id bet if you took the bloodwork of an ultramarathoner right after a race, theyd look like eveey organ was failing.
