I was giving an example of the average volume. Yes, most days this is between 6-10.I have a very hard time believing that all your sets were to failure.
For that to be the case, you'd have had to pick the exact perfect weight for every single set, for every single evercise.
The odds of that happening are next to nil.
If you want to train to failure, pick a rep range target, like 6-10 instead of 8. When you can get 10 reps, increase the weight next session.
