I draw with a 20 inject with a 22 or 23 on a 3ml Luer-lock syringe. Any smaller and it takes forever.

1cc only takes me about 20-30 seconds to push with a 29 gauge, i don’t really mind
🤔 Takes me about a minute and a half with a 25 gauge. I'm using all 3ml though. I've bent the 25 gauge really badly a few times from the dog running into me or my shaky ass hands, the larger needles are much more robust.

i would instantly assume you're using miglyol in which case you could draw that through a hollowed out sewing needle. Does the 3 gauge jump really make any considerable difference?

It does. Going from a 23 to a 20 is not like going from a 25 to a 23.

What's more important is a fresh pin. The rubber stopper can dull a pin.

Absolutely, I’m surprised at how many people I’ve seen use the same pin to pull and pin. I use a new one for each.

You know insulin users do it every time they have to inject. No switching out pins or back filling there.

I know man, that sucks. I mean they could backfill the insulin syringe like I do with another syringe. But most prob don’t give a fuck lol
