I think i've developed an aversion to chicken. I hate it in any and every capacity. Doesn't matter if its thighs or breasts; seasoned or unseasoned; its a chore to choke down and I need at least 2 lbs a day in my diet. I was thinking of trying to make a blended chicken shake or "pound stone" shake as some call it. Ice; boiled chicken and some green' (kale or spinach). Pinch the nose and suck it down as needed. Anyone tried this with decent results?

Fuck the greens. Boiled chicken breast is bland so you can flavor it how you want.

I’d recommend frozen mango and pineapple. 👍

This might sound absolutely insane, but hear me out...

There are lean protein sources that aren't chicken.

Sounds fucking unbelievable, I know, but you could maybe consider trying one of these exotic non-chicken proteins instead of creating what would almost certainly be a gastronomic atrocity.

Man that sounds nasty. I do love my chickens. Whole chickens, bbq chicken, broiled chicken, Fried chicken. Now i slice my chicken breasts to thin cutlets and wok them with wok vegetables. But i definitely eat a variety of meat sources to keep from losing it

Hey CJ. I have one meal of cod mid morning and red meat in the evening. I cant do whey protein for some reason. It digests super slow and kills my appetite. I'm trying to source all of my protein with food which comes to a little under 2 lbs of chicken.

I was reading about this idea from an amateur strongman's blog who blends all of his food solely for time saving. I see patients on the hour (and for an hour) and am routinely scheduled back to back to back. I can go 6 to 7 hrs without eating sometimes. It'd be helpful honestly to get real food in my system in a 32 oz chug. I dont really care what it tastes like. I only have 50% of my sense of smell intact anyways.

Jeez, man...

How many grams of protein are you trying to shovel down each day?
About 360 I think. I work with a coach who wrote this diet; mid level ifbb pro guy. Sort of assumes anyone can put away food like he does. Smart guy though.

Unless you weigh 360lbs lean, that is an absurd amount of protein. 1g/pound of bodyweight is plenty.

Im 42 man. Cholesterol will hit the roof at the volume I need.
How do you know this, have you been tested when off/on high-beef consumption?
Those w/ Lipid issue are usually genetic (liver makes too much). Diet related lipid issues are kind of rare.
(For those in shape).
Lean beef is the same (almost) as chicken...

360 grams seems a bit excessive, but if you hired a coach, by all means do as instructed. See what happens.

Ask him the original question, get his thoughts on it. Be open an honest with him, he very well may have some ideas on getting that much protein down, since he's done it before.

It's common here in Thailand; they sell blended chicken shakes in the gym. It's a perfectly reasonable alternative to whey if you want "real" food. It doesn't even taste that bad.
