This is exactly what I do. I may also take the occasional peep if there's a cutie and I have an extra minute to prepare for the next set.I capture my last set in my training journal, catch my breath, take a drink, and mentally prepare for my next set.

yeah, I don't like idle chit chat at the gym. Some people act like its their club scene. I like to get in, get my workout in and get out.Drink water, find my spot to chill, I try to avoid annoying people that love talking and can't stop or understand that gym is for working out and not chatting at the coffee shop.
The problem is... I have ADD. I might start doing loads of laundry inbetween my sets. And then I start organizing. Lol.I have my own home gym, so I don’t have to worry about that shit.
